Women’s Swimming Falls at Division II Edinboro

EDINBORO, Pa. – The Allegheny women's swim team opened up 2025 on the road at Division II Edinboro Saturday (Jan. 11).
 
The Gators fell to the Fighting Scots 151-74.
 
Anna Kohler (Sewickley, Pa./Avonworth) produced a pair of runner-up finishes. She placed second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:01.74 as well as the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:42.90.
 
Olivia Johnson (Trafford, Pa./Penn-Trafford) also had two second place finishes.

She had those finishes in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 12:42.63 and the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:14.77.
 
Grace Wilson (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBouef) was second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 6:06.76. Josephine Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa./CAPA) was second in the 100 breaststroke at 1:14.81 while Emily Arendas (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) was second in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:51.43. Leah Frase (Madison, Ohio/Madison) was second in the 200 individual medley, clocking in at 2:47.36.
 
The 200 freestyle relay team of Katya Pryshchenko (Berwyn, Pa./Aim Academy), Kohler, Kerrigan Swartz (Brookville, Pa./Brookville Area) and Arendas was the runner-up with a time of 1:49.06.
